UTIL-LITE – Utilities Labeler for AutoCAD
What is UTIL-LITE?
UTIL-LITE is an AutoLISP-based utilities labeling tool for AutoCAD, built for civil CAD workflows.
It standardizes how existing and proposed utility runs are called out on your plans, so every sheet in the set reads the same instead of looking like a one-off.
What it does
- Creates consistent utility callouts using rectangles, centerlines, and (for proposed) hatch on your chosen layers.
- Clearly distinguishes EXISTING vs PROPOSED so it’s obvious what is being built and what is already there.
- Tags runs with XDATA so you can later clean up or delete by type (for example, delete all ESTM or PSAN labels from a drawing).
- Cuts down on manual offsetting, trimming, copying, and relabeling when utility layouts change.
The focus of the LITE version is the core workflow: runs → standardized labels → quick cleanup by type.

UTIL-LITE is a drafting automation tool. It fits best when:
- You are drafting utility plans (water, sewer, storm, etc.) and want a consistent way to label main runs.
- You need a clear visual distinction between existing and proposed utilities that is easy for everyone in the office to follow.
- You are tired of hunting down old labels when a run changes and want a more reliable delete-by-type clean-up workflow.
Requirements
- AutoCAD on Windows (full version).
- Ability to load AutoLISP/VLX routines (standard AutoCAD functionality).
- Basic comfort with AutoCAD’s support paths / startup routines if you want it to load automatically.
Note: This has not been formally tested on AutoCAD LT or verticals. Use at your own discretion in those environments.

Licensing and Refund Policy
UTIL-LITE uses AutoLISP Wizard’s Hard-1 licensing model. A time-limited trial (20 runs or 7 days, whichever comes first) is included so you can evaluate the tool in your own workflow before activation.
After purchase and activation, your license token is tied to a specific workstation and user profile. Refund requests will only be considered within 15 days of the original Gumroad purchase date. If a refund is approved, the associated activation token may be revoked for future activations, and you are required to uninstall the software and discontinue use, in accordance with the EULA, Gumroad’s policies, and any applicable local regulations.
